Galaxy clusters are the largest gravitationally bound structures of the universe and are unique laboratories to study some of the most fundamental questions in astrophysics, related to the physics of particle acceleration, cosmic rays, and magnetic fields properties. The radio observations of galaxy clusters have revealed sources of diffuse radio emission associated with the merger driven shocks and turbulence in the intracluster medium. Despite progress in understanding about these sources, there are still open questions regarding the underlying particle acceleration mechanisms. In this talk, I will discuss the results obtained with the new wideband radio observations of the famous "Toothbrush cluster". These results reveal new mysteries that challenges our understanding about the diffuse radio sources.
