Physical growth of nanostructure

Students at work

Short description

In this research laboratory, we grow nanoparticles and nanomaterials by physical methods. We employ gas phase condensation for the preparation of nanoparticles and nanoparticle-assembled materials, and physical vapour deposition by magnetron sputtering for the growth of thin films and multilayers. Materials under study are metals, metallic alloys, oxides and metal hydrides.
